1. Our Services

Cottiz Design provides interior design services in Miami, Florida and online, including virtual consultations, on-site consultations, home staging and turnkey interior design, as well as online design courses. The specific scope, deliverables, timeline and fees for each project will be described in a written proposal or agreement, which will prevail over these Terms if there is any conflict.

2. Free Introductory Call

Our free 30-minute introductory call is a no-obligation conversation to understand your needs and confirm we are the right fit. It is not a design session, and no design advice provided during that call creates a service agreement.

3. Bookings, Payments and Rescheduling

Paid consultations must be paid in full at the time of booking. Project services are billed according to the payment schedule in your proposal. If you need to reschedule a consultation, please let us know at least 24 hours in advance. Late cancellations or missed appointments may not be refundable.

4. Client Responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate information, measurements, photos and timely feedback, and to give us reasonable access to the property when on-site work is required. Delays in approvals or access may affect project timelines.

5. Purchases, Third-Party Vendors and Contractors

Furniture, materials and services from third-party vendors, retailers or contractors are subject to their own terms, availability, lead times and warranties. We will make reasonable efforts to coordinate them on your behalf, but Cottiz Design is not responsible for manufacturer defects, shipping delays or the work of independent contractors. Any budget estimates are approximate until each item is approved by you.

6. Online Courses

When you purchase a course, you receive a personal, non-transferable license to access its content for your own use. You may not share your login, copy, resell or distribute course materials. Because courses are digital products, purchases are non-refundable once the content has been accessed, except where required by law.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website and all designs, drawings, concepts and materials we create remain the intellectual property of Cottiz Design unless otherwise agreed in writing. Once paid in full, you may use the designs delivered to you for your own project. We may photograph completed projects and share them in our portfolio and on social media without disclosing your personal information, unless you ask us not to.

8. Limitation of Liability

Our services are provided with professional care, but design results depend on many factors outside our control. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cottiz Design will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us for the service in question.

9. Website Use

You agree not to misuse our website, attempt to access it without authorization or interfere with its operation. We may update, suspend or discontinue any part of the website or our services at any time.

10. Privacy

Your use of our website and services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use your personal information.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date, and continued use of our website or services means you accept the updated Terms.
